OpenVPN Client on Asus RT-AC66U connecting but not routing All through VPN tunnel.

Hello,

I have the updated Merlin Firmware and VPN client 1 & 2 connecting fine (Mullvad and VPN.ht).
If I choose Policy based routing, the device chosen does not go over VPN.

If I choose route ALL traffic through VPN I still get my basic ISP when I IP check...nothing is routing over
the vpn connection. Same if I manually select DNS server *open nic or allow automatic/router.

Nothing I do allows the router to route clients through the VPN tunnel.

Please help!

look at the system log for information. it sounds as though openvpn is NOT connecting.
