OpenVPN netmask? (384.4beta3)

Occasional Visitor
I setup an OpenVPN server today on an AC87U (384.4beta3) with mostly default options and have been unable to ping anything on my LAN after successfully connecting to the VPN. I tried to configure the VPN subnet to be on the same network as my LAN, hoping that I would be able to successfully ping and connect to things on my LAN, but I get an error that it conflicts with my DHCP... I'm probably doing something stupid, but how can 192.168.1.176 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.252 conflict with 192.168.1.33 through 192.168.1.62?
