I'm trying to get a computer to run through an OpenVPN connection via my R7000 using the Asus-Merlin version for it.
I get PureVPN setup and connected fine and initially all data runs through the VPN, however once I turn it off, data still passes through.
I can check via ping. With the VPN connected, it will show pings in the 150ms range, disconnected it will say "packet filtered" or come back with nothing. However Deluge keeps on trucking with only a small hiccup when it loses connection with peers but picks right back up where it left off. It will then max out my normal VPN free internet connection.
I have "Block routed clients if tunnel goes down" set to yes
I only have one rule:
VPN 192.168.1.30 0.0.0.0 VPN
Any idea what could cause this? I've read through the posts here regarding that and I havent seen any posts where only certain data types are blocked when the VPN goes down, its always all of it or it doesnt work.
