OpenVPN problem

Hello,

I have AC66U router with OpenVPN server

LAN 192.168.1.0/24

The problem is that I can not connect remotely to devices on the network, eg (192.168.1.65).

1. Connecting a OpenVPN is ok.
2. Ping the device 192.168.1.65 is fine
3. in the browser to get 192.168.1.65
4. of local network (no VPN) to 192.168.1.65 normally get.
5. eg 192.168.1.1 via VPN also open normally from browser

Do you know where can be the problem?

If pings work but not accessing an application on the target computer, then the issue is with the firewall of that computer. Keep in mind that your OpenVPN client has an IP outside of the LAN scope, so by default most firewalls will drop their connection attempts.

Did you mean firewall on host target PC where is the OpenVPN client? Or firewall on Asus router firewall?

It doesn't work on any PC in testing network where I using OpenVPN client ... 192.168.1.65 is webcontrol of IP phone.

On the target PC. Windows by default is most likely blocking the VPN client since it comes from a different subnet.

Ok, so firewall was disabled on Windows 7.. but still doesn't work.

Strange is that 192.168.1.1 works fine..

192.168.1.78 works fine too - remote samba / classic share disk.

Only 192.168.1.65 doesn't work via web browser :-/ ping is ok..
