I ran into a situation and I'm not sure if its a bug with OpenVPN (Merlin build 388.8_2_rog, because "rog" was missed in 388.8_4) or working as intended.
I have 2 OpenVPN servers set up on my router. One is UDP and the other is TCP. When I check "User/Pass Auth Only", each device with its unique login ID (Same password though) gets their own VPN Private IP. However, if I uncheck this box, each unique ID grabs the same VPN Private IP. Both VPN servers I have setup do this.
I know using User/Pass auth only is "less secure" but its the only way I can get multiple unique devices from all using the same IP address..
Any info is appreciated...
Thanks
