OpenVPN Speeds

Hi, I have setup SurfShark on VPN Client, but it seems like I can only get 7-8mbps at most. I try it via my phone on the app and I can 23.56mbps, with my phone being on the wifi (without the vpn connected at the router). Are there any settings or tricks I have missed?

You haven't tell us what router you use. If you have a cpu weak router you get slow vpn speed.

Router: Asus RT-AC88U running Merlin 386.9

Okey, what speed do you get from a pc connected to lan-port?
It's also depend what crypto you use, AES- if your router support AES acceleration.
