Own router with sky

I want to use my own Asus router with my sky sr102 as the WiFi is poor and enable a guest account so guests can't access my local network.

If I connect my lan cable from my sky router to the Asus wan port, then run the Asus in router mode and disable the WiFi on the sky would this work.

I have been reading about putting the sky router in bridge mode to avoid issues, but you can't enable bridge mode on the sr102.

Any thoughts

I don't think the SR102 can used in modem mode but using a 3rd party modem/router is possoble.

You will have to use wireshark to obtain correct ISP login details.
