PCE-AC68 replacement antennas

Anosh

New Around Here
Hi!
I come to smallnetbuilder from time to time to read about hardware but this is the first time I'm actually participating in the forums, obviously.

Someone offered me a PCE-AC68 recently but it doesn't come with antennas and since I'm completely lost when it comes to antennas I'm wondering what I could get that would be equivalent to the original?

Oh and I have an Asus RT-AC68U since earlier.

Appreciate the help =)

Hi,

First of all it's odd to buy a WLAN card without antennas: This raises a flag for me! It means that the card was not used and might not function at all...

The standards antennas are simple 2dBi omnidirectional ones for combined 2.4 & 5 GHz usage.
I have some good experiance with products from Delock (like the directional 5dBi ones for my two routers) and would recommend to look for antennas and where to buy on the Delock homepage.

There are many offers on eBay and other platform, but as you cannot verify the source they might be not of the best quality.

With kind regards
Joe
