I'm quite confident in that already. The Synology D213J is priced right for my budget and still has acceptable read/write speeds and the functionality I am looking for (FTP, DLNA streaming, etc). The Asus also then seemed to be the perfect fit, as it offers more extensive QoS which is a priority for me, as our internet connection will be slow as it is and I will need priority on some specific things.
I want to thank-you and everyone else for the help and opinions during this time. It was great to see this community come and help a new member, and I appreciate that. Hopefully I will be able to help others in the future, as well.
