Is it possible to port forward to a host name?

The reason I want to use a hostname is because I run a homelab within my network and constantly bring up and tear down VMs. These VMs have the same hostname but grab a random IP from PiHole every time they come up. I wanted to see if there was a way to use these VM's hostname and don't have to go change port forwarding every time I rebuild them.

Thanks!

What about setting the same Mac address for your VMs and then set as static lease so they get the same IP each time?

That is a good suggestion. I actually have static leases setup for the VM host, NAS, VSCA and other stuff that is not going to change much but haven't done the same for my VMs and my Kubernetes environment.
