Routers I've had before enabled setting primary and secondary dns servers if I wanted to set dns manually.

3.0.0.4.372.31 (Merlin Build) has a setting for only one dns server in the gui.

Am I missing something?

You must be, see attachment.

Grrr - looking in the wrong place - it's been a long day.

Thanks, guys, sorted.

To explain the difference:

On the DHCP page, it's the DNS that gets sent to your clients. By default, it will be the router's IP, as the router hosts its own DNS proxy (dnsmasq). That's why there is only one field - it's usually left empty (which will default to the router's IP). You might want to change that one when running your own DNS server at home (for example, if you have a Windows Server acting as your PDC).

On the WAN page will be the two DNS servers that the router will use for resolution. This is where you must change entries if you want to replace ISP DNS servers with third party ones.

I think there aren't, if the (only) page there is the USB 3g/4g modem. How do you override the nameservers on these links?
