Hello,
I have a RT-AC86U and i'm using merlin 384.7 - Alpha 2, and i'll explain the problems that i'm having below...
So i noticed that the IPV6 sometimes was not working and then i saw that it actually was vanishing\disengaging from my ethernet adapter by looking in adapter status screen... What happens is that if i power up my pc, it will acquire the IPV6 like it should be, but after some time(between 5 to 10 min) the IPV6 will vanish\disengage from the Ethernet adapter of my pc, the same thing happens if disable the adapter and enable it again, in other words, when i enable it, it will acquire the ipv6 like it should, but after some time(between 5 to 10 min), the ipv6 will vanish\disengage with me doing anything to it.
Here are some screens:
I get this when i power up my pc or if i disable and enable the ethernet adapter:
/\ the ipv6 is working like it should...
But then, this will happen after 5 to 10 min:
PS: Sorry that the above screens are in another language besides english, but i did not feel like installing the language pack just to take screen shots of the status screen of the ethernet adapter, since they are the same in any language.
Here is the log of the router when i disabled my ethernet adapter, then enabled it again, then the pc gets the ipv6 and then after sometime(5 to 10 min) the ipv6 was gone from the ethernet adapter:
And these are my ipv6 settings:
I noticed that these problems started happening after i installed several scripts from this forum and i confirmed that this is the case(that the problem start happening after i installed the scripts), when i yesterday did a initialize of the router to wipe every config and scripts from it, after that i just setup my pppoe connection, ipv6 and wifi and after, i monitored the ipv6 on my desktop for the whole day and it did not vanish\disengage a single time from the ethernet adapter, and today i've installed all the scripts again and the problem came back!
I'm using the following scripts:
Diversion 4.0 (dnsmasq ON and a swap file of 2GB in a 16GB usb 2.0 stick)
Entware-ng (Installed by Diversion)
Pixelserv-tls (Installed by Diversion)
amtm - Terminal Menu
DNSCrypt (Installed by amtm)
Skynet (Installed by amtm)
DiskCheck (Installed by amtm)
FreshJR Adaptive QoS
And they were installed in the following order:
1 - Diversion -> Entware -> Pixelserv + certificate installed on my pc -> Swap file 2GB
2 - Amtm Menu -> Disk Check -> Skynet -> DNS Crypt(with ipv6 enabled and using dns servers from cloudflare, numbers 13 and 14 if im not mistaken from the list when you manually setup the dns servers in dnscrypt installation)
3 - FreshJR Adaptive QoS -> enable qos and AiProtection on the router webui.
So, ipv6 is somewhat important to me because i'm stuck in cgnat on the ipv4 ip, and my isp will not provide me with a public ipv4 ip, because and according to them, its for dedicated links only and my is a residencial one.
