New Around Here
So I just recently updated my RT-N66U router to the firmware that was released in june. Now, the router says that there are errors on my 2TB hard drive (it has its own power adapter and is NTFS formatted), one of my macs doesn't see anything that's connected to the network, and my windows computer can't see the hard drive in the network folder. I ran the chkdsk command on the hard drive, and it said there aren't any problems. Any help would be appreciated.:D

here's the disk scan results:

GetMount: "/dev/sda1"

THANK YOU!

Hi,
If I were you, I'd go back to the previous f/w and see what happens to prove it is caused by your update.

so my hard drive is now visible after I did nothing....weird, but it still says that there are errors on it. I'm going to put all of the old data on it before I just go back to the old firmware. Hopefully, that'll fix it.

Did you reset to defaults before and after the upgrade? Try that before reverting to the old firmware. Configuration data can survive firmware upgrades and cause all sorts of havoc.

Update firmware with out any USB devices connected to the router.
Reset.router.
Set.it up.
Attach USB hard drive.
