Problems Changing DNS RT-AC66U

ok so i have a rt-ac66u using merlins latest version (3.0.0.4.374.32) and so far so good, but i ran into a problem today, you see ever since i got the router i left he dns settings on auto (assuming it would connect to my isp's dns like it is suppose to) but today i realized it had for some reason defaulted to googles dns (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). so i go into wan and disable where it sais "connect to dns servers automatically" and i typed in my isp's dns, i then rebooted the router normally, noticed the changes didnt take effect, so i turned of dynamic dns, rebooted it, and tried again, still no luck, was constantly pulling googles dns for whatever reason, so i turned of the router, modem, and my computer for about a minute each, turned on the modem followed by router and then my computer, still getting 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and its driving me crazy, bug? or am i missing something here

edit nvm i solved this i must have set my computer manually to googles dns a while back so it kept grabbing them anyway, im dumb lol
