Problems with 5ghz on RT-AC66U

Is anyone having trouble having a stable connection on 5ghz? After a couple of days or sometime hours I will have dropped connection on the 5ghz channel and will have to reboot the router to get the connection back up. I have tried different channels with the same results. It doesn't happen at all when I am connecting on the 2.4ghz.

Router: ASUS RT-AC66U
Wireless Adapter: EA-N66

I mostly use 5 GHz myself with no issue at all with my laptop's Intel Centrino 6230. Did you check if there was an update available for your EA-N66?

Yup, I have updated to the latest firmware for the ea-n66. I have tried with my phone as well and it drops at the same time. I hope there is no problem with the router since a reboot fixes the issue for a while.
