The filtered results in QoS Web History don't seem to be working correctly for all network devices. For instance, my own computer just shows everything and not even in any particular order.

Look at the Domain Name column (not show on your images) : sorted ascending on that field.
I can't change the displayed list, no matter what I try.
 
I still can't get this to work. Not only does the list not always relate to the selected network device, but it's not even in any sort of order. I have tried hitting refresh after changing the selected device, but it doesn't make any difference. Is anyone else having similar problems?

Web history is not working correctly for me either. I had just ran a search on the forum for this issue when I saw this thread.
I can't get it to filter for any specific clients and I really doubt it is logging all the traffic.

Filtering doesn't appear to do anything. The really weird part is when I flashed to the new Merlin build on this new factory fresh 86U router the other day, the filter was working initially.
 
It does appear to work for some devices as they show only sites that they would logically access but with other devices, it can show nothing or a whole array of sites that the devices have connected to, some that don't make sense to me such as why would a Fire TV be connecting to a windowsupdate server.

I am not confident at all that I understand how this feature works or if it's even working properly.

I agree, I't may be as simple as I don't understand how to use this feature.
 
I think it's a bug as I'm pretty sure it used to work properly on a previous router. We'll have to wait for a response from Merlin I guess.

But would they even reply if they get a hint that we're using Merlin's firmware? Just to clarify, is anyone able to confirm whether or not this is working with the ASUS official firmware? I'm going to have a look in their part of the forum to see if I can find anything.
 
Everyone claiming it doesn’t work has to understand that it’s sorted in alphabetical order by domain name rather than chronological order.

It seems some hackers are inserting pornhub onto my mobile device history results on a repeated basis.

If it were really working correctly then the client selection filter would make a difference, but it doesn't.

I pscp to retrieve WebHistory.db, I then use sqlite (or rather sql.js) to retrieve what I want / the way I want to see.
