Qualcomm Atheros and AC87U

Hi,

Yesterday i' ve tested my new ac87u (with latest merlin) with my 5 years old laptop. When connected with 5ghz, the 5ghz band of thw router crashes immediatly and the router is uneachable. On 2,4ghz all works fine. The Network Card is from killer with qualcomm atheros drivers. With my older ac66u all works fine without issues. Any suggestions?

Err . obviously the 5ghz on the router cannot be crashed by your laptop.

You need to update the wireless drivers to the correct version. You don't tell us what OS you are using on the laptop , but if it is Win 10 there have been compatibility issues with WiFi drivers.
