Is this possible?
Currently using 1.0.2.0 bl and official Asus 4164 firmware.

Can I put the T-mobile firmware back (if I need to) using the firmware upgrade section within the 4164 web GUI?
Or will I have to downgrade to 3626 and do it that way? Or is that not even possible?
If it's not possible, then what would happen if I mtd flashed the original Tmobile cfe and then put the router in recovery mode and used the asus restoration utility to flash the Tmobile firmware? Possible or suicide?

If you still have the original tmobile firmware (not bootloader), you can install that at will without making changes to the bootloader. I'm just curious why you would want to do that? If you want to go stock, just throw latest asus firmware on it and call it a day.
