If I disable the 5g wireless signal will this affect anything on the router?? I really do not use the the 5g signal, so I just want to make sure it will not mess things up on the router. I have no issues with the router but why have something on that I will am not using at the moment.

Thanks.

just that you wont have a 5 gig transmission , you will need to disable both 5 gig transmissions and have smart connect disabled

just want to make sure it will not mess things up on the router.
everything else should work fine but why even buy or have the 3200 if your not going to use its main feature or selling point ?
but why have something on that I will am not using at the moment.
but there is no gain by disabling it so why bother

It should not cause any problems.

I disabled both 2.4 and 5 GHz radios on my AC66U and it's been working great (as a router) for nearly 2 years.

My router is at the far end of the house and I can't pick up its WiFi, so I'm using a Time Capsule and have great WiFi coverage.
