New Around Here
Hi all and thanks for taking the time to read my question. I have been searching for a clear list of steps to make my network function as I want it to. I have read many posts here at SNB and they lead me to believe that I can do what I want.

What I have:
Verizon FiOS 50/50, TV/Inet/Phone
Cat 5, ONT to office
Actiontec MI424WR Revision I
Netgear R7000 (new)

What I want to do: I would like to make the new Netgear my primary router and use the Actiontec as, basically, an MoCA adapter.

What I need:
Answer: Can this even be done?
If yes, a list of steps to make it so.
If no - thanks for your time.

Many thanks to all those who respond (and the great people who post here).

- Dave
