Ok thats great and all, but I said not including wifi.

All you have there is AX wifi tests. Anyway, this is way off topic for this thread so I'll just digreess.....

true...I still have an old R7000 with outdated - dd-wrt. Any suggestion what to load onto it.
Gonna use it for children - wifi and lan on seperate network.
Any suggstions Firmware V1.0.11.100 or a better alternative - key word "stable"?

I have never been able to use another firmware above 1.0.9.42.

I have heard of others using the Latest DD-WRT and Tomato firmware with good results.

Thanks, I noticed your comments on the prior page. Good advise.
I hoped some other R7000 users could share experience with latest firmware.
As it is a "dino" / stain age router with DD-WRT, I probably revive with update version, less work

Finally decided to install Fresh tomato 2020.2. Works quite well - using it as Acces point for the kids.
Satisfied at this moment.
