R7000 vs. R6900 (CostCo)... Differences and availability of 3rd party FW

Just wanted to comment...Hard to believe how these prices stay up.. I got my R7000 at best buy. They matched the online price of 160 I found. Generally they match everything but ebay and amazon marketplace. I only see it this week for 171 on a site called 'gonzomart'. I would have brought it used or openbox but I had already returned 2 other brands; problem turned out to be my cable service.

asus is offering the RT-AC68A on amazon...a cheaper price than the 68U or 68P.. as long at the 68U firmware loads I think consumers will be happy.
