New Around Here
So I have the original Netgear R7000 and everywhere I look including on this site it says it should have the best WAN to LAN performance around. The issue is I can't seem to get over ~600Mbps with a Gigabit connection. (It usually hovers closer to ~400) I tried doing a factory reset, turning off traffic meter, QOS was already off, etc. etc. Pretty much any feature that wasn't necessity for internet I turned it off and that was how I managed to irk out anything over 400. I also rolled the firmware version back to: V1.0.7.6_1.1.99 Any ideas how I can squeeze that last drop of performance out of this thing or is it time for an upgrade?
Edit: I turned Traffic Meter back on and the speed didn't drop at all. This tells me that CTF is likely not working, but I can't figure out why. I have QOS and Traffic Meter turned off. It still doesn't improve after a factory reset. :/
