New Features and Enhancements:

  • Increases the maximum traffic meter limit to 4095 TB.
  • Adds ability to sync NTP setting and configure local timezone so users can avoid auto firmware update in the middle of the day.
  • Removes support for channels 132, 136, and 140 in 5G_HT80 mode to meet regularity.
Bug Fixes:

  • Fixes an issue where the name of the attached device disappears if the firmware is updated to V1.0.2.52.
  • Fixes security issues
  • Fixes minor bugs
Known unfixed issues:

  • Intel7260/3160 has a connection problem with the R7800 when the HT160 is enabled. This issue is due to the Intel driver. Intel is looking into this.

Yay, hopefully better regarding blank page on device info/priority edit, fingers crossed. Gonna try it as soon as I get home.

I do not see it on the download site which is still at .52. Also clicking on the button to check for new firmware, my R7800 reports there is none. Did they pull it back for some reason?

EDIT: Ok, now I see it. Caching issue...

2 days testings and new 1.0.2.58 seems to be working very good !
Naming devices fixed at last and most importand QOS settings are now kept. (amd working !)
Speed alsow seems great !
Testing continues but so far so good.

Greetings and hoping one of you guys can help.

I have an R7800. 1.0.2.46 was the last FW I can run where I don't get bufferbloat. 52 and now 58 make Gforce Now gaming unplayable due to eventual packet loss and high latency. DSLreports buffer-bloat test also show bad bloat. Reverting to 46 ALWAYS fixes both the GforceNow problem and DSLReports buffer-bloat test. I get an A or a B with 46 and a D or F with anything later. This is repeatable 100% of the time.

I have not tried one of the custom FW builds found here. Is anyone able to verify my results, or test on custom firmware, or provide any thoughts or input? I appreciate anything at all.

Many thanks!
