R7800 sensitivity range

I have trouble connecting my Chromecast, which is far from my router. I have tried changing the setting, such as lowering the RTS/ CTS threshold; Short Preamble settings,... but it did not solve the problem. Is there any settings which helps me improve the range of my router, such as sensitivity range setting (ACK Timing)?

Most likely you already thought of it, but did you try different channels?

I have used InSSIDer and chose the least crowded channel. But the Chromecast still did not stream smoothly.

Setting the region to US works most of the time.

Even on my cheap D-Link the signal strength went from 32 dbm to 20 dbm when I set it to US.

I have fixed my problem; disabling MU-MIMO helps the Chromecast stream smoother. Thank you for you all!
