in my opinion amazon affiliates arent bad. Amazon gives chances to many video series that would never have been aired and are actually good. I also see a lot of boring useless crap on amazon video too but i dont see amazon affiliates being bad as compared to other video companies and other affiliate companies, amazon actually looks good even ethically.

I've stopped seeing amazon ads which isnt great. If you can use amazon ads with affiliates that would be the best as you get both ad revenue + amazon affiliate revenue if each amazon ad was also an affiliate. Amazon ads seem to have disappeared.

After disabling my ad blocker and seeing the complete ads porn on the forums, I have again enabled my ad blocker. Without it, the forum/main site is filled with ads at every possible location. I can accept an ad here or there, but what I saw was "in your face, sucker". Not to mention the "Please support SNBForums" banners between posts

It looks to me like Mr Tim is trying to get rich by exploiting every single free space on the layout and stuff it with ads. I can understand he needs to pay the bill, but what I saw was exaggeration in ads and for me personally unacceptable

I'd rather see the banner at the top notifying you to disable your ad blocker than seeing the shirtstorm of ads without it

I'm sorry

still far better than the ads on free streaming sites and torrent sites.
I dont see a site full of ads, as far as ads go there are 3 hard coded amazon affiliate links, a main top ad banner, 2 side ad banners and some of the forum elements a little out of place. Hes not getting rich though as hes barely even holding on to this site.

the other thing that was going on is opera was blocking any ad that what http: based rather than https" based.

Is this due to any setting we might have at the router level, e.g. AiProtection? I don't currently have any ad blocking enabled in windows and these popups are getting to be rather annoying.

It's funny, not sure what's going on but I use FF and the popup is constant, with Chrome this doesn't happen and this is with NoScript, uBlock origin disabled etc. under FF but with Chrome I don't get the popup and so it goes...
