Re-order Static DHCP list.

How hard would it be to implement an option to re-order the static dhcp list by ip, or name. Sometimes I remove items or add a new ones and the ip's get way out of order.

Re-order colum, drag and drop order, or even just default to a certain order other than when created.


I know it's OCD, but it would be nice.

Would require a redesign of the page's logic, which would make it impossible afterward to merge future changes from Asus. This is best implemented by them.

I'm the same way. I sometimes even do nvram get dhcp_staticlist, edit the output with vi, and then do nvram set dhcp_staticlist with the sorted information. It makes it easier on me to see what I'm assigning all the devices on my home network.

Well Merlin published a script on his wiki to sort it by IP. I use it all the time. It works great and if you are good with the sort command you can modify it to your needs.
