Since 2 days my AX88 log is heavily populated with

kernel: br0: received packet on eth7 with own address as source address

.

One message every 4 secondes...

What's going on ? What to do ?

From other posts of the same you likely have a switch attached to the router.

Remove it and test if that still remain.

Is it always eth7 in the message? Are the messages continuous (24/7)?

Do you have any clients that are connected by Ethernet that have a WiFi adapter that is also connected to the router?

No I don't have such a dual connections.
I have 24/7 continuous messages for eth6 & eth7.
if eth6 & eth7 correspond to LAN6 & LAN7 port, they have nothing connected...

eth6 and eth7 are the 2.4 and 5 GHz radios. So you usually get these messages when clients are bouncing between these two bands.

It's definitely worth trying turning that off. From what I've read on here it can cause problems with some clients if not setup correctly.

Have you tried a factory reset, and a manual re setup see if that helps.

On my setup I am getting these but only occasionally and they all correspond exactly with WLCEVENTD Auth / ReAssoc events

though depending on your Syslog settings you may not be seeing these. In my case it is always when people are moving about the house and it is is always from android mobile phones. While this may be a router issue, if all the messages are from one (or similar devices) the issue may be there instead.
