New Around Here
I frequently travel outside of UK and struggle to reliably access UK entertainment content like the BBC even with a good VPN. Years ago I saw a solution based on a SBC with an ethernet and WIFI interface on a UK home LAN with a UK ISP. Non UK requests for content were received on one interface and passed to the other interface which was not blocked, replies were handled in the reverse direction. I cannot locate the original document now but here are the few things I remember; remote access was configured by a port forwarding on the router; routing and NAT tables were configured to handle the requests and replies and masquerade option was used. Sorry my information is very limited.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to realise such a solution or related informations for me to develop my own solution.
Admins if I have posted in the wrong forum please my post to the correct forum.

You just need a device on your home network that runs a VPN server. That could be a standalone device like a Raspberry Pi, or it could be your internet router as many of them have that ability.
