In my router log file, I have thousands of these:
Dec 7 13:56:01 miniupnpd[1289]: remove port mapping 5001 TCP because it has expired
Dec 7 14:06:02 miniupnpd[1289]: remove port mapping 5001 TCP because it has expired
Dec 7 14:11:03 miniupnpd[1289]: remove port mapping 5001 TCP because it has expired
Dec 7 14:16:03 miniupnpd[1289]: remove port mapping 5001 TCP because it has expired
I think I used to have this port used by a SlingBox, but no more (the SlingBox device is still on the network).

What do I have to check to find out what the problem is exactly ?

Thanks

As you say, port 5001 is used by slingbox. So at the risk of stating the obvious, turn of the slingbox and see if the messages stop.
