New Around Here
It would take me into next week to explain everything I have done to get rid of rogue audio; anywhere from a Ford commercial and music to a meal delivery outfit in Manhattan. This happens on both my PC (wired) and laptop 35ft away from router and PC. I've changed cable modems, routers, surge protector and still it happens anywhere from a second to three minutes. All I haven't done is changed network and cable cables. I was going to buy new cat6 cables, but apparently quality is difficult to ascertain prior to purchase. I post here wondering if anyone else has experienced this phenomena. I've been on several other forums and no one has heard of it. It happens on either Linux or Windows 8.1.
Obviously I've checked for virus and malware. I have also restored an image from long before this started.
