Route certain devices through VPN but not all

New Around Here
Hi
I've just purchased an ASUS RT-N66U and have installed Merlins latest firmware (376.49_2 )to allow me to use Open VPN on the router.

I have a number of network media players and devices on my network only some of which I wish to use a VPN for these are the media players that I wish to use to view content in other countries.

I'm currently considering how best to set this up as I have little experience with any ASUS routers but am reasonably network savvy.

Is it possible to have devices controlled either by their IP address or Mac address or Ethernet port route via the VPN and others go out normally?

Apologies if this is a common question and I did search but couldn't find any similar questions.

Its called selective routing, there is a tread here in the forum.
It quite a long process for anyone new to it.
First questions:
Do you have jffs enable:
Do the devices that you want routed via vpn have a static ip assigned to them?
do you have telnet/ssh enabled in the router?

Sorry for the questions but i dont know you skill level .

Please post the ip addresses/ports that you need to route via the vpn client.

Faria,
Hadn't really considered defining which ports I thought I would just route all traffic from these devices via VPN, is it necessary to define ports?

The devices are listed as per below:-
FireTV1 - 192.168.1.30
FireTV2 - 192.168.1.31
Syno - 192.168.1.32
MBP - 192.168.1.33
Imac - 192.168.1.33

Thanks again

Dean
