I'm looking for ASUS router recommendations for a rural business that is installing a Ring doorbell and cameras which all run on 2.4G. The outdoor cameras will go through brick and the doorbell currently is at -70 RSSI with a router barely bigger than a slice of Texas toast! Other than the cameras there will be a few wireless devices and not a lot of internet traffic.

I'm looking for a router that will give them great 2.4G coverage but won't have a lot of devices on it or require a lot of bandwidth. When recording the cameras will use 1-2mbps each. What would you recommend? I was looking at the RT-AC1900 and if more distance was needed, adding a 2nd one using AiMesh.

I have a RT-AC3100 in my house and the coverage is awesome - does the RT-AC1900 have the same coverage but just not higher bandwidth? If so then perfect!

Also what would you recommend for adaptive QoS settings since the priority would be uploading video? In this situation would Game be better than Video? The internet speed is around 10mbps down and 4-5mbps up so not a lot.

Thanks!

But I also caution you against the link provided. This site is a scam. Please buy from reputed sellers such as amazon etc.
