Router that sends all internet traffic to an external Socks5 proxy on the LAN?

New Around Here
Hi all. New forum member here. This forum comes up again and again on Google when I ask advanced network questions, so maybe it's a good place to ask the hard questions.

I have a 4G device that provides internet via a socks proxy on a specified port. I want to tell a router to use the socks proxy on the 4G device for internet traffic. The 4G device will have a DHCP reservation on the LAN provided by the router.

What is it called when a router manages internet traffic in this way? It seems like a non-standard feature. Does a general purpose router firmware like Tomato or DD-WRT provide this functionality? If not, is there a user-friendly off-the-shelf solution? Cheers.

I am not sure I have ever seen/heard of a transparent proxy setup that utilizes SOCKS. Most transparent setups I have seen are standard HTTP proxies.
