This is kinda annoying.
USUALLY all of my devices I can see the USB3 drive under FINDER
the router shows up as a computer/server
when I just booted under my wife's id on the mac mini in the bedroom I opened FINDER and the router did NOT appear
I went to on the menu bar and GO/Connect to server and got the Server not available
I am sitting at my desk, on my iMac wired straight to PORT1 on the router.
I open FINDER and I do NOT see the router either
I am in Firefox to 192.168.0.1 and can login and on USB>Server Center>iTunes/DLNA/SAMBA are ALL ENABLED
It's like it disappeared today and I just turned OFF iTunes server (not needed, just turned it on anyway) and also turned OFF DLNA server and then it appears in FINDER
I did use the DLNA server with different apps trying to find on that worked to stream from the USB3 drive to my kids Apple TV2, so it could serve up movies.
I don't keep my NAS boxes on all the time otherwise I would enable DLNA/Media on my QNAP TS-419+ or my Dlink DNS-323 BUT it's "rarely" that she will want to see a movie on her tv in her bedroom streamed from the router/DLNA with a app I put on her Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet.
So I guess the DLNA is NOT resetting itself after being used, in whatever capacity (device pulling from it or one device using it like streaming to a Chromecast, which I also have in the living room and tried many different apps to try to get it to work with my phone and tablet, just like Netflix will stream straight to the Chromecast from the tablet or phone).
So anyway I am seeing there is a problem with the DLNA server NOT "resetting" itself after being used.
Anyone else have a problem 'similar'?
I am just going to move the drive which is in a USB3 2.5" case to the USB2 slot and see if that corrects it.
But, I have a USB3 slot on the router, is it just NOT going to work right?

Also in FIREWALL>URL FILTER
I tried to add a website that comes up because it shows up in my Disconnect web browser extensions just under SAFARI only.
It is a ADOBE website http://www.businesscatalyst.com
and what pisses me is that IF you have Safari and IF you have the Adobe Flash plugin then IT is signalling to Adobe EACH and EVERY web page you go to. Tracking you and I am determined to stop it.
NO web browser plugin can detect it
So anyway I tried to add that URL in the Firewall, and it said Applying, then it does NOT show up when the page refreshed.
I figured it out.....just NO http:// OR www. in front of URL
then it shows up on the list

So no one has any problems with the DLNA server quitting out on them?
