Hi.
I bought this rtr one week ago, and everything was working fine, but yesterday was the begin of my problems. I detected that all my 2.4 devices are down and I can´t see the 2.4 SSID, the weird thing is that if I check the configuration via GUI I found several issues with the wireless configuration like:
  • If I select the 2.4 band, the cannel list includes all the 5Ghz channels (36, 40, 44... etc)
  • If I select the 5 band, the channel list only show me auto and "0"
I did the factory reset, changed the firmware several times but I can´t fix it.

Help me please!!!

It would help to know more details, like the FW version.

Please attach printscreen of those problems showing up.

This typically indicate that one of the three bands has died. Try doing a complete power cycle (turn it off, wait 15-20 secs, then turn it back on).

Three bands? It's a Dual Band router... :)

i think we have seen this before and a reflash of the firmware fixed it , so flash the latest fw even if its on the latest just reflash again and see if that fixes it

Misread it as AC3200. But my diagnosis stands. Seen it happen to various models lately, when one radio fails to boot on these newer models, the others are "shifted" by one when displaying channels.

Please show us SYSLOG info, use pastebin.com

Did you get a brand new one?

I suggest you to press the HW Reset button for 10-15sec without release it and then wait for a reboot. Check after if the problem went away.

As I'm saying: it's a hardware issue. One of the radios fails to start.

Help me to check my default configuration please, please!!!
When I see my configuration via SSH, I see the same thing. The Wl0 with the SSID "wl0_ssid=ASUS_00_2G" has the "wl0_chlist=36 40 44 48 149 153 157 161 165". And I think taht is wrong
