[RT-AC3100] router log spam bug

Well over the last couple years, this issue has been a common issue with many different Asus routers. I know this has been patched in a couple of there routers already. However it's an issue with this new router, and need's to be corrected, as it's not fun seeing the spam built up from this issue. As for what the issue is, it's when you have another router, or such connected as a bridge/repeater. This is what the log gets spammed full of, over time.

I may be wrong about this but i thought i read this error only happens when the router is hooked to another router AP point or repeater mode. But agree it should be fixed if it's a bogus entry.

Well I'm running Asus newest official release for the newly released RT-AC3100. The firmware build is 3.0.0.4.380_858-g32ea84e. The issue is what I posted above about, with that one error entry being spammed in the system log, which is "kernel: br0: received packet on vlan1 with own address as source address". This issue has been brought up repeatedly with most of Asus newer routers, and has been fixed on some of them.

I currently have the RT-AC3100 running in "Router" modem, and I have my older RT-N66U running in "Repeater" mode. I would run my RT-N66U in "Bridge" mode, however in bridge mode, speed's are very limited to like 10-15mbps max. So in "Repeater" mode, I can get speed's well over 100mbps when connecting via 5GHz band. I really don't need to re-boardcast wireless signal with my N66U, but I do as there's no way to disable it while using "Repeater" mode.

Another thing I noticed with my RT-AC3100. when on the LAN<->DHCP Server tab, when giving a lan device a static ip, and applying the change. The router gets hung, and I lose internet access, in which I reboot the router, and everything is working again. So this seems to be another bug I have noticed so far.
 
Here is a screenshot of the system log showing the error being logged. Also there's "Start NTP update" every hour logged. Is it possible to get this from being logged every hour? Just to much spam in the system log in my honest opinion. As for the main error, with the screenshot I'm adding to this post. There isn't many of them at the moment. But everyone was away from home tonight, and this error adds up way more when everyone at home is accessing the router to use the internet.
