RT-AC66u LAN Speed

I have upgraded my internet plan from 150/15 Mbps to 250/25 Mbps.

So if I do a Speed-Test directly on the provider modem the Down/Upload is 250/25,
but if do the same Test behind the Asus AC66u the maximum speed is 195/25 Mbps.

Setup:
Provider cable-Modem (Bridge-Modus) connected to the Asus AC66u

AC66u Firmware: Merlin 378.56_2
HW acceleration is activ

I´m not sure if the AC66u can handle more than 200Mbps?!
Should I buy a new router? If yes, which one?

I have a rt-N66u and 1000 mpbs internet. I get 940 mbps so you definately do not have to buy another router. Make sure the hardware acceleration is switched on, you can check it under the tool section, at the bottom in the network section.

an update to the last merlin-version 380.61 solved the issue. Now I have full-speed
