Hi.

Hoping to get some help.
I just recently upgraded to 384.13 and everything worked fine except for all of my manual port forwarding I had set up. They were all gone. So I manually re-added all of them.
Now I can't seem to recall, but on that page at the bottom, there's no "Apply" button after you are done. However I don't know if it was there before.
After that all was working, however for reasons I can't seem to figure out they keep on getting removed.

I had about 9 entries originally. I've tried from only entering 3, but nothing seems to stick. The amount of time before it vanishes seem to be random as well.

Has anyone seen this before?

There is no apply button anymore. They take affect immediately. Check if you are running out of nvram space on Tools page.

If so, run this command to see the largest consumers of nvram space:
Code:
nvram show | awk '{print length(), $0 | "sort -n -r"}' | cut -d"=" -f 1 | head -n 20

Ok I will take a look.

Here's what I see for NVRAM usage.

NVRAM usage 65520 / 65536 bytes

I guess this is close to the limit.
Question, where do I enter in that command above to check the usage.

Yes, that's full. The command is meant to be entered in an SSH terminal logged into the router IP address using a program like PuTTY for Windows, or even built-in ssh commands in Windows 10 or MacOS. You'd need to enable SSH on the Administration - System page in the GUI first.

Ok thanks.. figured it out.

I think you can go into the VPN client settings and hit the Default button at the bottom to reset them and hopefully shrink them.

Thanks so much for your help on this.

Here's where I am now. I still have "299 vpn_client_custom2" in which didn't get removed when I applied default to the VPN client.
I also abbreviated the hostnames for my devices and removed some other things here and there. Hopefully this should now be enough room in the NVRAM.

If you can suggest how to remove the vpn_client custom, that can free up a little more.
