RT-AC68U and SonicWall TZ 200

New Around Here
Hi there Asus gurus!
Have a basic question that this newbie would appreciate getting an answer to.

I use an RT-AC68U as my wireless router and DHCP server on a small business environment with about 20 users and a QNAP NAS. My ISP is Time Warner Cable Business Solutions with a 35Mb/5Mb line that includes a monthly lease of a SonicWall TZ 200 firewall appliance that we are not currently using.

The RT-AC68U has a firewall that is enabled, do I need to install the SonicWall as well? I am already paying for the SonicWall so I may as well use it if I get additional protection. However, if I only get another box to manage/configure without worthwhile additional protection then I may just keep our setup as it is.

What is your opinion to SonicWall or to not SonicWall?
Thanks for your thoughts.

You don't want having both firewalls at the same time. And if you decide to use the Sonicwall, you would have to put the Asus router as an AP, and lose a good portion of its functionality such as AiCloud or VPN.

Thank you RMerlin for you quick reply! This is very helpful. Seems like we Sonicwall does not add anything to the picture and actually can subtract from the setup!
