Hi all. New member here.
Having some trouble getting a Cisco E2000 running DD-WRT v24 in bridge mode to connect to my Asus RT-AC68U with Merlin firmware.
Currently I am using a Belkin router in front of a re-purposed Dish Net dish and corner reflector to blow a signal to my garage a couple hundred feet away. And my wifi bridge works fine with a WRT54 running DD-WRT in the garage.
I need to get a connection upstairs in my home and I'm using the Cisco/DD-WRT in bridge mode. Site survey shows my Asus router wifi 'net but I cant get a connection. I do get the "joined network" message.
I get enough signal from the Belkin router to connect the Cisco after the SSID is inserted (using the same security settings and password). The connection is fast and solid but sig is weak.
No way can I get the bridge to work with the Asus router. And I've been doing bridges for a few years now.
Any clues or suggestions would be a big help.
