RT-AC86U and TUF-AX3000 with AiMesh - Help wanted to diagnose reason for dropped packets

I have these routers set up with wireless backhaul. I am experiencing lots of packet losses and I can't work out how to fix it.

So far I have reduced the RTS Threshold which seems to offer some improvement.

Any guidance o wise ones?

Second question, I have been turning off features like Universal Beamforming to see it that makes a difference. I have lost track of my changes. Can anyone list the default wifi settings for me?

I know this is a little late, but I learned the hard way a long time ago to take screenshots of your factory base settings before making changes.
