RT-AC87U and VLANs

New Around Here
Hi guys,

I need some help with configuring VLANs on my router, the ASUS RT-AC87U with Asus Merlin firmware installed. My ISP (KPN Glasvezel/Fiber) gave this ExperiaBox modem to me which is very limited, so I want to get rid of all those limitations.

My setup is: Fiber connection (tagged, VLAN 4, 6 and 7) to the WAN connection of the router, and the internet connection is made through PPPoE, VLAN 4 is IPTV, VLAN 6 is Internet and VLAN 7 is telephony.

For telephony, I must connect with the ExperiaBox because my ISP won't give me the SIP login and password. So I figured out I can setup VLANs through the 'IPTV' tab in the Asus router, but when I click 'Manual', I can only forward one VLAN per port, but it is so much work to place another cable so I really want to forward 2 VLANs through 1 port.

So I must configure the VLANs as: VLAN 4 and 7 to the modem, and my own router is for the internet part.

I do know that VLAN 7 should be sent tagged towards the modem, but I'm not 100% sure if IPTV should be sent tagged as well.

I've read something about JFFS and scripts or something, but I don't know very much about that.

Does anyone know how I can do this and explain it to me? So put VLAN 4 and 7 through the ExperiaBox with one cable. And that I can use the other three LAN ports on the Asus router for internet connections?

Hope anyone knows this...

Thanks,

Marco.

(By the way, my English is not that good, so I'm sorry. :p)
