RT-AC88U after electrical blackout problem opening port 3389...

I am amazed but this problem occurs every time.
I have the latest Merlin firmware version 384.13.0 on RT-AC88U.
I opened ports for EMule for PC A and B and port 3389 for PC C.
If it happens that there is an electrical blackout and the router turns off, when the electric current returns the eMule open ports work, while there is no way to connect remotely with remote desktop to PC C.
I tried everything and in the end I only succeeded in re-flashing the same firmware version (I restarted the router, disabled/enabled port forwarding... nothing).
Does it happen to someone else?

How / where did you "open ports"? From the GUI? From a script? From an app? Is UPnP enabled or disabled?

Does this only happen if you physically disconnect the power (either unplug or use the power switch) or does is also occur if you reboot the router via the GUI or SSH?

More info required! :)

I opened the ports from GUI (WAN - Virtual Server / Port Forwarding).
UPnP was enabled and I didn't know (I just disabled it).
The problem happens if there is a problem and the power is cut off (for example overload) and does not occur if I reboot the router.
Once even skipping the power all the settings were lost!!!
Thanks... ;)

Sometimes weird things like that happen as a result of nvram being full. See what your nvram utilization is on the Tools page in the GUI.

If settings are being lost when power is removed (manually by switch, pulling the plug, or otherwise) then that looks to be a hardware fault in the EEPROM.

First thing I would try would be the "nuclear reset" (see posts by L&LD) then if it still an issue of lost settings, replace the unit (hopefully under return or warranty). I'd also look into getting a UPS. It adds a lot of protection from power issues.

It seems strange to me: NVRAM usage 62097 / 131072 bytes

Help.
I got it on Gearbest from China 13/10/2017 so no warranty.
However, it only happens if the power is turned off if you don't restart it by turning off the powet button and then turning it on.
I am not an electronic, but I think it seems a problem that happens if there is maybe a power surge (which then causes the interruption of the same)...
If it were a hardware problem of the NVRAM it would happen also in other cases, no?

Not necessarily. Capacitors in the router and power supply can supply just enough residual power to retain settings for a short period. Also, power failures are a different animal as they often include brown-outs and other nasty stuff (hence the UPS idea). If you really care to find out, remove the power supply connection for an hour and see if it happens.

First though, the "nuclear reset" could do wonders as it often fixes stuff like this.

While waiting for the answer, I took a cheap 750 VA UPS on Amazon.
I connect modem provider, RT-AC88U and miniPC ZOTAC which I use to connect remotely (the one of the open door ...).
Regarding the nuclear reset at the moment I don't want to lose all the settings, but I'll take a look.
Thanks, you're always on the piece!!! ;)

P.S.
Where I can find... ""nuclear reset" (see posts by L&LD)"?

There are 9 points to follow, right?
In general, yes. Although I would certainly avoid things like using a USB stick/drive, AMTM, etc and keep your setup as simple as possible since you are trying to determine if there is a hardware issue or not. But in essence it walks you through some basic reset options. Print out or write down settings, don't "save" and "load" configuration files (for this particular reset test) as it can carry over problems.

I put the 750 VA UPS buy on Amazon but to test it I was wrong and turned off the power to the router without turning it off.
I noticed that it is not the 3389 port that is not open (I did tests on the site that tests the open ports), but the part of the router that makes it reach from the outside is blocked, as if the no-ip service were not working (I use that of ASUS).
To fix the problem I first flashed but nothing, then I modified USB 3.0 port to USB (2.0) also because I don't know if I remember correctly but I had read that leaving USB 3.0 worsens the WiFi signal (but maybe it wasn't this router ... ) and starting again it worked.
Mah...
