Hi,

Been struggling for the past couple of weeks to get QOS working in any meaningful way on my router, Running 380.65_4 or the new .66 beta's.

None of the QOS modes or rules appear to adhere to the upload rules, so my xbox one swamps the entire internet connection.

My Internet speeds are 24mb down and 555kbps up (terrible I know...)

For adaptive qos, if I set 18 down and 0.4 up, my xbox still uploads way past the threshold and effectively kills the connection.

If I try traditional qos, no device appears to get capped.

Bandwidth limiter doesn't do much either, even with 0.1 upload set on it.

On my old N66u from several years ago, it used to work a treat, so was just wondering if anyone knew which firmware has working QOS on it for the AC88U?

Thanks

My only other option is I do have a WRT1900ACS Linksys sat it's box that has DD-WRT on it, but I prefer the Asus GUI. bit stumped realy for what the best course of action is.

Talking of ddwrt same thing happened on that on voip review till i tweaked the figures.
Could it be a voip test with other packets?
Say udp instead of tcp?

Adaptive qos works fine on my 88u and I'm running 380.66 beta 3, check your priorities and if all else fails try a factory reset.

I got it working properly. :D

Had to disable IPv6 on the router and suddenly my settings work.

I guess the QOS engine can't cope with IPv6 traffic?
