New Around Here
I purchased a secondhand RT-AX3000 router, and upon finding it password-protected, I attempted to reset it using the WPA and Reset buttons.
Unfortunately, this process resulted in the router becoming unresponsive. With considerable effort, I managed to update the firmware via TFTP, which allowed me to access the router's configuration page. Regrettably, even after completing the initial router setup, while the wired LAN ports are functional, the wireless capabilities are limited. Only the 2.4 GHz LED illuminates, but neither wireless band is operational. Furthermore, when attempting to configure the 5 GHz settings in the router's interface, an error message appears as shown below.

Would anyone be able to assist me in resolving this issue? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

The router is faulty. Return it and ask for a refund.
Thank you for your opinion.
Unfortunately, a refund seems unlikely. When I first received the product, the router setup page and SSID appeared normal. However, after resetting it to resolve an encryption issue, the aforementioned problem occurred. After the problem arose, I disassembled the router and connected UART. For these reasons, a refund is not possible.

There are two different hardware versions of the RT-AX3000, each have their own separate firmware. Perhaps you installed the firmware for the wrong version.

The router is indeed RT-AX3000. The firmware currently installed is the latest version, 'ASUS RT-AX3000 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24762', which was released on April 12, 2024, on the ASUS website.

Thank you for your thoughtful response.
As you had anticipated, the suggested solutions did not yield significant results, and unfortunately, a new issue of continuous rebooting emerged. Consequently, I have decided to order a new router for immediate use.Given that I've ordered a separate router, I intend to take my time to repair this problematic device at a more leisurely pace in the future.
