Afternoon all, just like my previous post the latest firmware causes ping to go all over the place but I ran it on stock firmware and I get a steady consistent line of 10-14ms compared to this latest update of anything from 10 to nearly 60. Does anyone have a clue what setting is causing this. I’ve figured out it’s not the ISP caus the stock firmware works as it should and so does the BT smart hub 2. This is 100% firmware settings related. I also had this exact same issue with the DSL AX82U. Please how can I fix this.l?

Latest firmware means nothing. Latest Merlin? Latest Asus? Latest what? Please be specific. We are not clairvoyant. Well, most of us aren't...

@SamT98 "Stock firmware" is all official firmwares published by Asus. This is in contrast to "custom firmware" from third party developers like Merlin, OpenWRT, DD-WRT, etc.

If by "stock firmware" you really mean "the firmware that was installed on my router when I unboxed it" then you need to specify the exact firmware version as it could be anything.
