RT-AX88PRO IOT issues

I'm helping a friend extend his network out to his remote shop (see picture).

MY_NET is the primary SSID for both the 2.4 and 5G radios on the RT-AX88PRO. I've got the MAC address of the RT-68U MEDIA BRIDGE in the 5G Wireless MAC filter on the RT-AX88PRO to force a 2.4G backhaul. Internet access from the SHOP works as expected.

The MY_IOT SSID is setup as a GUEST NETWORK PRO IOT network on the main RT-AX88PRO. 2.4G only. For the AP, I have the MY_IOT SSID assigned as the primary network on the RT-AC68U 2.4G radio in the shop.

I don't seem to be able to get access to any of my IOT devices in the shop once I go into the house. I suspect something with the RT-AX88PRO. I set this up at my house without issue but I have an RT-AX88 (not PRO) so the MY_IOT network is an "old style" guest network. I'm afraid I'm not versed well enough with the AX88PRO.

Any help appreciated.

MY_IOT on RT-AC68U (the shop) is obviously on the main network of RT-AX88U Pro (the house). MY_IOT on RT-AX88U Pro (the house) is obviously an isolated network even though it shares the same SSID. When connected to MY_IOT on RT-AX88U Pro (the house) you won't be able to see the devices on the main network and also the devices connected to MY_IOT on RT-AC68U (the shop)... you set it up this way. If you connect to MY_NET on RT-AX88U Pro (the house), then you may see the devices connected to MY_IOT on RT-AC68U (the shop).
