Ok, so I downgrade, still low wifi speedIt seems that since this last update my aimesh node (2 x XT8, ethernet backhaul only) speed is way lower.
I used to reach 800/600mbps down/up now i am only 500/400mbps.
I ll revert back to previous firmware, test, and report here.
See you.
No.Does the AX89X have a wireguard client built into it
WireGuard is still considered "experimental" and not near as tested and proven as OpenVPN.Thanks... that's a pity
not, the ax89x not have wireguard client. have other vpn clients, but not wireguard yetHi guys
I am in the market for a router with a 10gb sfp+ port as I have fiber coming directly into my house.
Does the AX89X have a wireguard client built into it (I need it for Mullvad). I don't care about wireless (actually I will disable the wifi functions) as I have my on access points.
Is perhaps Asus planing on releasing a newer generation of the AX89X soon?
Thanks
Скажите, пожалуйста, в чем разница между B1 и B2?Привет, только что купил мой на прошлой неделе на amazon (.fr) за 392 €, это b2! Разве сейчас его не существует. Еще не включал.
Thanks. I've read somewhere about a beta firmware update which contains wireguard but not sure if AX89X was among the supported devices.not, the ax89x not have wireguard client. have other vpn clients, but not wireguard yet
If not this router, then what ......?Thanks. I've read somewhere about a beta firmware update which contains wireguard but not sure if AX89X was among the supported devices.

exactly. this is what I've seen .Beta - ASUSWRT 386 RC3-3 public beta for IPv6 DDNS and IPv6 VPN server
Hi All, New 386 rc3-3 firmware added more IPv6 support. You can now use IPv6 to register DDNS and use it for OpenVPN, WireGuard server. firmware link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zbP67c9LM-je_w3PEc36ybc_VFddJPPe?usp=sharing support model list GT-AX11000 RT-AX92U...www.snbforums.com
These are starting to be a bit old however.
Yes it can. I'm using it that way.I have a RT-AX89X ordered, and I am preparing all of the accessories needed to hit the ground running when it arrives. I am aware that the 10G RJ45 port can be configured as WAN or LAN. Can the SFP+ port be configured as a LAN port?
