Hey does any1 know where i can find the QVL list? cant find it on the asus driver page for the router.
If the SFP+ transceiver works for the router will the port on the transceiver work like a normal 10g rj45 port (like, could there be compatibility problems with my nas thats using a tplink 10g rj45 net card or will is universally just work if the router accepts the trancevier)?

I bought this thing for the 10gb ports. I'm sure that 99% of us bought it for the same reason.

Obviously the 2 10gb ports are amazing

But

The wan is only 1gb, I really don't understand what were they thinking in building the Optimus prime of modems and giving him only 1gb in the wan side and only dual band.

That is if you use it as a node, which is what I do. If you use it as the master that's another story.
i want to confirm that it will work to get 10g from both the 10g rj45 port and the sfp+port if you use it as a normal router (one will come from my 10g ISP connection and the other cable goes to my pc)
is the speeds bad with dual band only on wifi?

I can confirm that the RT AX89X SFP+ with an RJ45 adaptor will run at 10Gb to provide 2 10Gb ports.
Both 10Gb ports can work as the WAN, leaving the other for the PC connection.

I've gotten wifi d/l speeds on the 5Ghz band (tested on Ookla) around 1300 Mbps with the 10G broadband ethernet from my ISP using the SFP+ port as WAN.
